About CTRL
Hi—I’m Scott, founder of CTRL and longtime champion of commercial directors levelling up while being true to themselves.
For over a decade, I’ve represented directors across the globe through my agency, Equals MGMT. From rising stars to seasoned pro's, I’ve helped shape careers, secure dream jobs, and open doors that once felt out of reach. That experience—sitting between artists, producers, clients, and commissioners—has given me a unique view of what actually moves the needle in this industry.
CTRL was born out of that insight.
We exist to help commercial directors take control of their careers—not just creatively, but strategically. Whether you’re looking to land bigger boards, transition into a new market, or get clearer on what makes you different, we’re here to help you map a path forward with intention.
CTRL isn’t about giving vague advice or vague motivation. It’s about working closely, 1:1, to figure out what you actually want—and how to get there.
We usually start with a short run of sessions (2–5 depending on your goals), with optional refreshers down the line. These are fully tailored to you, but often include things like:
